Earlier, teachers were recruited separately for the secondary level (classes 9–10) and the higher secondary level (classes 11–12). But from this year onwards, recruitment will be conducted through a single examination. In other words, there will be a unified recruitment for classes 9 to 12. The name of the post will be Madhyamik Acharya (Secondary Teacher). For this post, candidates from other states will be considered under the General category.
JSSC Exam: Selection Procedure
- The recruitment will be conducted in two stages.
- There will be a written examination consisting of two papers.
- The language of the questions will be in both Hindi and English.
- All questions will be of the MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type.
- There will be no negative marking.
Only if a candidate scores a minimum of 33% marks in the first paper, the second paper will be evaluated. Marks obtained in the first paper will not be added to the final score. Selection will be made solely on the basis of marks obtained in the second paper. The questions will be of graduate-level standard.
