WBPSC Clerkship Salary falls under the 6th Pay Commission as per West Bengal Pay Commission Rules. The basic salary of the PSC Clerkship job in West Bengal is 22,700 as per the rules effective from 1st January 2020. The employees will also get a house rent allowance, DA or dearness allowance, medical allowance etc. The total salary is 27,286 rupees. However, the amount of salary received by the employees of this post from 2021 onwards is 25,093 rupees.

Eligibility Criteria: WBPSC Clerkship Examination

Educational Eligibility:

WBPSC Clerkship qualification can be determined through this:

  • Applicants must have earned a Higher Secondary Certificate (Class 12) from an recognized institution.
  • A bachelor’s degree or above may be necessary to fill some roles.

Age-Related Eligibility:

  • Individual notifications may specify a different age range, but in general, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 40.
  • Candidates from reserved groups, such as SC, ST, OBC, etc., are granted age relaxations following government regulations.

Nationality:

  • This recruitment drive is open exclusively to Indian nationals and permanent residents of West Bengal.

Additional Requirements:

  • Unless exempted under exceptional circumstances, candidates are required to possess strong reading, writing, and speaking skills in Bengali.

WBPSC Clerkship Exam Pattern

Part 2

Part 2 exam can be given after passing Part 1 Prelims. The question pattern of Part 2 i.e. Mains is slightly different. This test is descriptive.  There are two groups. Group A topic is – English. Group B topics are – Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali / Santali. Here is the question pattern:
