SSC MTS Recruitment 2026: Know the Syllabus and Exam Pattern!

SSC, Staff Selection Commission, conducts an exam called SSC MTS. There are two recruitment posts available, Multi-tasking Non-Technical Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) in various offices and departments of the Government of India. SSC has not yet announced the MTS vacancy; even, they have not yet published Havaldar vacancies through the MTS 2026 Notification.  Here, we will discuss the syllabus and exam pattern in this blog.

SSC MTS Exam Notification

SSC, Staff Selection Commission, has not yet released its exam notification for the SSC MTS 2026 exam. This exam is conducted for Multi-tasking Non-Technical Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN)  posts. SSC also announces vacancies for the Havaldar Post. They have not yet posted for the MTS vacancy. Students can download the previous years’ exam official notification from here.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern

The SSC MTS exam has two levels. 

  • Paper 1 is a multiple-choice online exam.
  • PET and PST.

SSC MTS Havaldar Paper 1 Exam Pattern

SSC MTS Paper 1 is divided into two sessions. Session 1 and Session 2. We will mention the whole exam pattern in a table below.

  • Two sessions will be a computer-based examination.
  • Both sessions must be attended.
  • Session 1 has no negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Session 2 has 1 negative marking for each wrong answer.
  • Both exams have a 45-minute duration.
