The Assam State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. The duration of Paper I, is 1 hour. This paper is a general paper and focuses on General Teaching and Research Aptitude with 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) worth 100 marks.
